Final Year Major Project: mirage

mirage is an exploration into the fluidity of gender identity, embarking on the journey to self love and acceptance amidst feelings of unsettlement and dysphoria amongst many individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Through the use of contemporary silhouettes and unique details, mirage puts a spin on traditional loungewear, offering individuals solace in pieces that are an extension of their unique sense of self. mirage offers a variety of basics, each with their own unique twist, that can be dressed up, down, or layered.

I undertook this project of creating my own fashion brand for my final year. Some considerations as well as learning points were the viability of the brand as well as creating a unique experience through meaningful storytelling.
